You go to craft breweries, you can get a flight. It’s a sampling of amazing variety of brews the place has to offer. Well, for my birthday this year my wife & I decided to do a crazy Fluffer Nutter flight. Here’s a recipe for 5 types of fluffer nutter’s we created. It should be note that I strayed from the traditional peanut butter and fluff, and used Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter (all three varieties) learn more about those by clicking here.
Put some peanut butter (or Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter) & fluff on some bread.
The CB & J & F
Take your favorite jelly (I used Raspberry), add it to some peanut butter (or Crunchy Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter), and fluff.
Crunchy Peanut Butter (or Crunchy Cookie Butter) goes with some fluff and candied bacon.
How do you make candied bacon? Easy, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Put some aluminum foil or parchment paper on a baking sheet, lay strips of bacon (3 will create 2 very hearty sandwiches with 3 half strips on each sandwich. Increase as needed). Sprinkle brown sugar on the bacon strips, pat the sugar down, sprinkle it with cinnamon. Bake for 7 minutes. Flip the bacon, add more brown sugar and bacon. Bake for another 8 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of crispiness. Be very careful as the brown sugar mixture is extremely hot. Remove the bacon from the baking sheet. As it cools, the sugar hardens into a candy, so if you leave it on parchment paper, it’s sticking and not coming off the paper. Enjoy your delicious paper bacon.
Fluffin’ Elvis’ Nutter
You’re welcome for that name, by the way. Add slices of bananas to peanut, or cookie butter, with some fluff.
The Girl Scout
Take your favorite peanut butter, cookie butter (*Cough Trader Joe’s Cookie & Cocoa Swirl *Cough), add fluff, then put your favorite Girl Scout cookie (*Cough Tagalog *Cough).
Slice your sandwiches into quarters. Put them into rows or add one of each to a nice serving plate to create the ultimate flight. Enjoy.
