This month presents two distinct, but equally awesome, challenges, Movember and NaNoWriMo.
At 33,961 words written, my second novel has a ways to go and the 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo will be perfect to finish the book. If it isn’t finished, it won’t be far away at all since the outline and current writing has it paced to reach somewhere in the 90,000 word count area. This is book one of a six, possibly seven, book series. (There’s a break in book two that feels like an ending to its own narrative. We’ll see.) So I will be posting here once a day with a brief check-in throughout Movember to give progress updates on word count. Send a writing buddy invite to my NaNoWriMo page and I’ll gladly do the same, let’s keep each other accountable.
If you’re confused as to my spelling on the current month, it is because of my second big challenge for the month. Movember began several years ago and has become a massive movement for improving men’s health. My ad agency, Vladimir Jones, is participating yet again in raising funds to change the face of men’s health. Won’t you donate to support the cause? It’d be much appreciated.
Let’s move onward to endure an intense month of challenges and hard work. Thank you so much, and if you can’t support Movember, please help to spread the word by sharing my Movember page, or the VJ team page.
